Default Headlamp switch warning RESOLVED

I shut the auto light feature off on my VDP so that they would stop coming on every time I go in and out of the garage. Does it have to warn me every time I start the car that the auto feature is turned off?

If you have the lights switch set to "Off", and the system thinks the lights should be on from the ambient light sensor then it puts up a message "Lights Off". I can't see what is wrong with that, but if it annoys you I'm afraid you cannot stop it as it is non-configurable.

Ah ok. I only noticed it in the garage anyway. It sounds like the warning will go away after I back out then. I just didn't want to prematurely wear out the ballasts and bulbs. Thanks for the info.
