I have introduced myself up above, I just picked up my 2006 XJR on Saturday, and the first thing I did was order a "supercharged" lisence plate surround and a Mina exhaust. Let the games begin!!

I want to thank all of you for the great reading and assistance of the forum I got as I did my research in buying this car. It was ever so helpful having this venue available.

welcome David, glad you're with us! If you want more supercharger whine (who doesn't?!?) with a little Hp boost, don't forget about that stainless stage 1 intake pipe to replace that quad-baffled plastic contraption. Plus, it brightens up the engine bay nicely.

 

Thanks H2O! That pipe is nice, where did it come from? I will admit that I have been a little disappointed by the lack of SC whine :-)

Thanks! I have it on order now and figure it ought to arrive about the same time the Mina exhaust gets here. I'l take picturesof the installation of both. I need to gt some of the car and get those posted as well.

 

Having recently joined here as well and still on a honeymoon with my "new" 2004 XJR, I share your excitement. These are fine cars and a great value when they can be purchased for such reasonable prices thanks to irrationally low resale values.
