I have a 2004 and 2008 XJ8 VANDEN PLAS. Need a source for driver side door inner door rubber that goes around the door from inside the sill of the door. Mine on both cars have deteriorated. Any info of sources where to buy will be helpful.

 

I had the same problem. They are discontinued. I was able to source one from a Salvage yard, that I pulled off by myself. I also know that the driver and passenger side are that same. If you find one at a salvage yard go to the passenger side. it is more possible that it will be in good condition. very easy to remove and install. You can do it with your hands. No tools needed. So I check my local salvage yards once a week to see if a Jag from 2004 to 2009 come in. Hope this helps

I think there is a post somewhere about rotating the seal around in the door frame so that the deteriorated portion is hidden by the sill cover.
