Default Lower Radiator Air deflector

Hi, I removed my front bumper to replace some parking sensors and this piece of trim basically fell to the floor. Anyone have a clue if this is meant to attach to anything. It appears to sit on top of the front bumper under tray?

Slides up under the radiator, it took me a while to figure out just how it went back together.
But much like a weapon, it fits right into place from the right angle.
Lay there for a while with the part, and it should come to you how it goes.

In the pucture above if you look along the edge on the ground you will see rust marks where it clips in place. I bet they have rusted away and it's dropped off or you may be able to see them on the bottom of the radiator. I had to replace mine as it was smashed to pieces.

So just to be clear, does it actually attach to the bottom of the radiator with clips and screws ?

Did mine yesterday, 3 clips stayed on the rad and one missing, no screws just the barbed clips , tricky to align all four for the final push.

I have the same part that fell out when I removed the bumper, been lying on my back for about an hour trying to get it to fit "somewhere", believe it or not, I had it off before, last year when i did the valley hoses, that time I had it up on a 2 poster ramp and I still couldn't figure out how it went on, I just kept chucking it at it till it "seemed" to find it's place. This time, the car is on the deck and I have already refitted the front bumper, etc, maybe I should have fitted this first.

So I will get back under in the next day or so and try try try again.
