Default Name that part

Greetings my fellow Jaguar enthusiast who have more knowledge then this noob I recently posted a thread introducing myself and that I'm new to the Jaguar community. I have encountered yet another surprise. My husband and I were out having lunch when we came outside to see the sun and brightness showing off our beautiful Jag when much to my surprise and horror I spotted this black space.... oh no...I thought not anther issue..this cars making me However I am sure it cant be to hard to fix and find the part for it. looks like it goes on easy. What is this part called and where can I find one?

Trick question?

That looks like the front of a X350 (2003 - 2009) to me - not an X308 (1997 - 2003).

No need to delete the thread - I've moved it to X350 forum.

I'm not too familiar with the X350 but from the Parts Catalogue it appears the missing part goes under the name of Cover (see item 6)

Jaguar really put some thought into that name.

Forum Sponsors S N G Barratt or Coventry West may be able to supply at a lower cost than your Jaguar Dealer. S N G Barratt offer forum members 10% discount on parts.

update - I used the parts information I found on Gaudin Jaguar and Ebay webpages. Parts list that it says: ACCESS COVER, RIGHT & ACCESS COVER, Left 2004-07

Looks like you need the front bumper access cover - both the right access cover and the left access cover have the same part number (C2C26842).

Opps - Parts diagram indicates #5 (as the passenger side) and the parts list says #5 is the left access cover)

You probably will have to indicate that you need the left side access cover (#5 on diagram and parts list).

Open the 2 attached jpegs files using the open link with new tab option (right click on the attached thumbnail to bring up the menu).
1st is the parts diagram and 2nd one is a ebay photo of the right side of the front bumper.

Had to replace the same part, and Jim Lombardi's link to Gaudin Jaguar was the cheapest one I could find.

It's a cover that just pushes into place and the tangs on the cover hold it in place

Correction to my eariler post - based on more research on the internet- the bumper access cover has a separate part number for the right side (RH) - passenger side US cars - part number is C2C26841.

That is the part you need to order (C2C26841) I am pretty sure, but ask the seller to confirm it.

The other side (US driver side) part number is C2C26842.
