On my 2005 STR I can change the voice and of course mine is set to UK!

Look in your NAV menus I am sure it's in there.

The above is for a 2011-2012 USA and Canada NAV DVD

Its what I use in my 2005 XJR . The Jaguar NAV works just fine for me and I do not find it slow at all. Of course its not up to date but thats not a problem for me on Cape Cod where I use it the most or in Maine. I do not use it in MD as I do not need to.

If you do a search on Yahoo you will find some vendors who have it.
You bought the one from the link above?

2012 JAGUAR - NORTH AMERICA MAP DVD

It is a legit 2011-2012 dvd? Works fine?

I didn't find a place in the menus to set the voice on my 2008-2009 version NA NAV disk. Is yours a North America/Canada NAV disk? If so where did you find the choice?

I bought mine on Ebay from a vendor who was advertising for a different model Jag. I contacted him and he said he could provide one for my model.

The Jaguar part# I posted is from that NAV DVD.

It looks absolutely legit and works just fine. I cannot remember the seller. I think I paid $50.

I emailed to ask if there will be another upgrade beyond 2011-2012, but have not received a reply.

My 2006 SV8 had a 2008-2009 DVD in it when I bought it. Interesting to read that a burned copy will work also - might have to try that to keep the original as a backup.

Edit: read about using a copy here:

I purchased an updated DVD from the listed vendor and am very satisfied. It works great and was only $50.00.

So, are there considerable updates over a 2007 disc? Here in FL, so many changes seemingly happen each weekend.

Cool Is the factory Nav worth using if you have a Garmin?

I stuck one of my Garmins to the windshield of my 07 XJR when I picked it up last March, and have never since bothered with the factory nav. Believe I turned it on once during a road trip, but it looked sort of primitive. And, don't you have to stop to edit it?

Is it worth spending $50 for a new disk if you have a Garmin?

PS: can you make the screen default to Leaper?

Hi
I have a 2003 XK with navigation but no DVD for Sweden. Anyone who has a DVD for the X100 navigation to sell or know where to find? Priority Sweden but if other European countries are included it is even better. I have looked at E bay but not found any that are for the old system and include Sweden. I know there are no updated versions but it is better to have an old DVD than no DVD at all.

Our 2006 SV8 has the 2008-2009 map disk which works well for us and The only thing I've noticed is that when I'm on a new road the NAV doesn't know about, the distance to go is displayed but the time to go blanks out until I get back on a road the NAV does know about and then the time to go comes back.

Is there any major advantage to the 2012 version over the 08-09 version? Would it be worth $50 to update?

BTW, I just downloaded the 2016 update to my Magellan Roadmates and it still didn't have the year and a half old "new" road in my area that confuses the Jag NAV.

Hello. Thanks for info. My XJ 2003, Europe introduced the X350 model allready 2003, has the new navigation system, same as in your SV8 and it works good. I do not have the TTG problem you mention. However, the XK 2003, X100, has the old navigation system. XK did not get the new system before 2006 model, X150. As to my knowledge it is impossible to rebuild the old system to the new system so I have to find a DVD for the old system.
