Hi Ray,
I'm not sure if all of the OEM Bilsteins had the Jaguar part number stamped into them. I think I gave my last good front unit to a friend. I've got an X350 on the lot right now and will try to remember to check the next time I get under it.
The info page on the current B4s does show a part number with that 6948 string but the rest of the number is different:
Bilstein B4 Air Spring/Shock Absorber for Jaguar X350
But like Fraser, I am unaware of any units other than Bilsteins that have the CATS connector.
