Please help---tpms issue
Greetings everybody----2006 Jaguar Super V8----Check spare tire pressure fault light will not go off. Recently replaced one sensor left front tire. Autel scanner recognizes all sensors but I cannot get that fault light to turn off. Somebody save me from fault light Hell----PLEEEEEEEEEEESE
The sensors have a limited lifespan, you can replace them one at a time..
Or when you buy tires, have the rest replaced for free.
If you have them in hand, when you buy the tires, as part of the deal.

Not sure a new sensor will fix this. Mine comes on after startup. Once shifted out of park it goes away.
I need a new spare. Ever time I do a replacement I want to install a pulled tire. They have less thread than the spare.

A free way of checking the sensors in the wheels, is to change the location of the wheels and see if the fault chases the wheel. Sensors aren't cheap, and many tire shops have a hard time with ours. My shop tested and diagnosed a bad sensor, which wasn't bad. My issue was the module, which was the price of 1 sensor from the dealer. My fault did not follow the wheel, and was intermittent. Also if you only have the "check spare" note and swap wheels with no change, the dealer can program the car for a space saver, and you can keep the module you have. Most of us are in the boot enough to check our spare without the need for a computer to tell us to.
