well, i currently own a xtype, which does not offer a ton of performanc eothe then leaving massive trucks in the snow while it pushes on.

But, when summer comes, not much fro teh streets, so i was thinking of moving up to a ethier a stype r, or more perferablly a xjr.
Any problems, price ranges, power enhancement and costs i should know about.

Get a '05 or newer that was owned by someones grandmother. If you can't afford that get a '00 or newer Ducati superbike with less than 3,000 miles. It will be a lot cheaper. You can be sure it scared the **** out of somebody and hasn't been ridden since. You will spank anything but a million dollar supercar on just about any road other than the dragstrip.

Assuming you know how to ride.

I wasn't kidding. '05 or newer owned by someone that most likely never felt what real boost could do. '03-'05 S-Type R were mostly bought by young punks that just beat them to death with absolutely no concern for future reliability. By '06 the prices had gone up and the deals had gone down so most after then were bought by responsible adults that enjoyed the occasional full throttle blast but weren't back to the dealer with 5,000 miles showing asking why their rear tires were worn out and not covered by warranty.

I still say go with the bike.
