Do the S Type rear wish bones fit our XJ8's? Seems that i've read they do, but can not find it now.

 

there were two versions of the s type wishbones both UPPERS AND LOWERS .mainly pre facelift 2002.5 . then post .

the later lower ones came from the 2002.5 onwards STR with SC cast on them , these were then installed on all s types some time after that . i'm sure the ones that say SC on them are the same as XJ , and i know tho 2002.5 onwards S type bush kit is the same as the x350 x358 XJ's according to ebay sellers

Will this set of upper rears should work??? If so, will need to have a set on hand, when a name brand, at a good price, are available. Then for a set of lowers to match. This is just one of the great ways we the people, are working together to try to get our sense of community back where it belongs. With us, WWG1WGA

the part no#s you posted in post 3 2000-2009 seem to suggest they do .

Gotta love Rock Auto; $55.79 each. Do appreciate all the assistance, verifying fit to take the jump, to order yet another part, that just will not fit this car, but does, when your there.

 

Hi Wingrider, I am replacing my rear upper control arms as well...so did the Stype ones fit? although yours an N/A and mine is the SC model.

 

Have yet to install them, not yet needed, purchased to have on hand, when needed.
I try to have wear items on hand, ahead of time.
