I have used it not only in the Jaguar XJR but countless other vehicle of mine and friends, family, coworker etc. Good ****!!! 2 application will ensure cleaned internal combustion side and a can for the gas tank to clean injector etc.

From experience many car that has weaker ignition type like using rotor type coil, copper plug or neglected service car the plug usually warrants to get change out after the seafoam process via vacumm line especially car with regular copper plug or cheap plugs.

First application via vacumm line and let it sit for 15-30 minutes and after that starts the car and enjoy the smoke show. If the smoke blow out is on the grey or dark color smoke then second application is usually warrant to make sure it's really clean. However if the first application the smoke come out pure white or just a hint bit of grey then a single application is enough.

Its not that I have a problem to resolve, I just want to give the engine a good cleaning. I do feel as if I have lost a bit of power. Not bad though. I did, used to have, some blow-by into my intake manifold. there is some gunk oil build up in the manifold that I would like to free up and burn out. I figure, since there is sludge in the intake, there is bound to be somewhere else within the engine. I also do have a rough idle "sometime". I have yet to.have diagnosed it to a coil, spark plugs are relatively new. I use seafoam in my WJ Jeep in its inline 6 and the stuff cleared up a grocery list of issues in it. So, why not run it in my xj8?

No engine in good running order 'needs' Seafoam or similar to keep clean. If there is a problem, these products are a temporary bandaid- or better yet, simply a smoke screen.

Seafoam is not really a bandaid on problem engine. Sometimes engines just need some cleaning to let it perform at their peak performance eventhough it have no problem with it. It is just a preventative measure.

Thats exactly what I am going for. I have used deadpan many times. I have always gotten amazing results. My concern is just the throttle body. Will the seafoam damage the coating that is in it and will it damage the finish on any of the intake manifold? I have seen the inside of my intake manifold, it has a hell of alt of build up in it for blow-by from my old egr valve I suppose. I want to clean it out a well as other parts, i'm site three its more build up somewhere. My last concern is, with all the said build up, can that sludge get loosened up, and not disolved, then move into my valve train potentially damaging a rod, valve, rocker, piston, etc? My Jeep had alot of build up in it as well. I used yhe seafoam and when I replaced my valve cover gasket on its L6 (inline 6), I disassembled the valve train to inspect my push rods and valves, the once nasty head was EXTREMELY clean. Like new. Is it safe to say I'll have the same results?
