Steering column lock problem
Hi guys, today I recalibrated my air suspensions with SDD. To do this, I first cleared the fault codes, then recalibrated. The suspensions are working. I ran the engine for 5 minutes to check them. I turned off the engine and locked the car. An hour later, my car won't start. I have a message on the dashboard saying "the steering column is locked." When I put the key in the ignition switch, I hear the steering unlock (I can turn the wheel without any problem). Question: Can I troubleshoot my car with SDD, or do I have to replace the ESL (I have to bring my desktop PC and monitor into my garage)?
I noticed that if I unlock the car with the key, the alarm goes off. With the remote control, I no longer have this problem.
Thanks. Best regards,
Marc

Yes, I'll do that tomorrow. I ran my diagnostics. It gives me error U2195 = SCP (J1850) invalid data from the steering column lock control module. I just remember that my steering is unlocked, I have a message that says the column is locked and it prevents me from starting.
Sorry about your troubles. Did you try moving the transmission gear selector around to make sure it was fully seated in the park position? Also, does the selector lock and unlock as normal?
