Sorry to make another post but ive tried searching to no avail..

Im showing no warning codes - Parking brake isn't working and has a warning light also when I drive I have a traction warning light. Could these 2 be linked?

If DSC is turned off with the button on the center console, the traction light will illuminate permanently. I'm pretty sure there's no relation between that light and the parking brake module.

My own car says "Cannot set parkbrake" and lights the yellow light, but I could car less if the parking brake works. Unfortunately, it failed while set, which made the car not driveable, but I finally just took it into the street back and forth a few feet at a time and it popped loose, no more brake. That was months ago, and like I said, I couldn't care less that there's no parking brake.

Thanks, yes honestly the only one im worried about is the traction, light isnt on permanently. Only when above about 5mph

Been driving for 47 years, in stuff from 50s British to 30-year-old American junkers, and have never even been close to experiencing a brake failure. I know it has to be built in there, but I have zero expectation of ever actually needing it. Total brake failures just don't happen unless someone has completely ignored the system for decades and decades.

That sounds like a wheel speed sensor issue, a mismatch at one wheel causing the system to throw the light.
