USB SDD version>????
Has anyone used the USB SDD setups. Basically has a module that plugs into the USB port than a USB that goes into your laptop. I've seen it for several versions of SDD. I was running virtual SDD with a mongoose cable but that was a disaster.
Thanks
Thanks
VM sucks.
You can download cracked v158 onto a Win7 or Win10 laptop, run the “panasonic setup script” and it’ll work it’s way thru the install. Keep it off the internet otherwise the update utility is gonna whine like every hour

You download the software directly from JLR’s repository and then patch it with the crack, it’s pretty easy to find.

You have link ?
Hi xalty
Looking at likely cables from China, I see they are OBDII on one end and a DB25 on the other. How does the DB25 interface to the computer? Do I need a DB25 serial to USB converter, or is there some other hardware required? Is this what is called a Mongoose cable?
At the moment, I'm using an iCarSoft LR v2 which also has a cable, OBDII to DB25.
Edit: I see some dongles that go to USB with v159 or v160. Are these any good? Most are about NZ$60 - 70.

The V130 software is available from British diagnostics on a thumb drive.
With or without the cloned Mongoose.
The only issues i read about them, was some of the cloned Mongoose cables.
Already had an original Mongoose, so i only purchased the thumb drive.
Have a friend, that set things up for me, & i have played around with it a little.
It looks & seems to work, as shown on their web site

I think the cloned cable is around here. Are these new versions worthwhile software packages? Have an ASUS tablet running Windows 10. Use it as a VAGCOM scanner with RossTech software.
Is the main issue turning off WIFI when using SDD?

I got the SDD running with my cable. Havent been able to diagnose my problems yet but everything seems to be working. I can tell all that I couldn't get the British diagnostic setup to ever work properly.
