weird signal lights
Mostly, problems like the one you describe are derived from faulty grounds.
You should check the grounding for the rear lights. Sometimes, the printed electrical connections within the rear light clusters can also be the culprit due to corrosion, so check them, as well.
Best regards,
Thomas

Although it doesn't seem plausible, the correction for this problem was the replacement of the rear fuse box (beside the battery). All lights are now operating correctly.

That's great news that the rear fuse box solved the problem. The good news is that the fuse distribution boxes are only fitted with fuses and relays. There are no electronic circuits in them. The only faults possible in the boxes are bad solder joints, poor fuse connections and faulty relays. Some relays are plugged in, and some are soldered to the circuit board. It is possible to replace the PCB mounted relays after separating the two circuit boards. I did this to replace a faulty board-mounted relay on my engine fuse box.
So don't throw away the faulty fuse box!
