Were there any noticeable changes between...
2005 and 2006 for the Super V8? Besides the slight increase in power, of course, 390 HP to 400 HP.
I've looked, and maybe my allergies are just killing my logic circuits, but I can't seem to find a list of standard and optional features for each year.
I know it must exist, somewhere.
Thanks!
Then again, it may be there were no changes worth noting.

My memory ain't the greatest but here are the changes fromm 2005-2006 I recall from when I was investigating my purchase:
- Brakes: 2005 had Brembo 2006 went with some other design
- Glass: 2006 introduce some soundproofing laminate into the windows
- Phone: Bluetooth was optional in 2005, standard in 2006
- Engine: Horsepower increased from 390 - 400
- Body: Minor changes like the aforementioned side moldings

Mmmm, even more sound-resistant glass....
Mmmmmm.
I do wish the supercharger were at least a little but audible, however.
There must be a way to gently tweak a bit more power out of this engine, too, though the numbers OEM are borderline staggering.
After reviewing more pictures, I see the Portfolio has the almost Ford-esque fender vent. If it were functional, I'd be all for it, but there's no reason for the Portfolio to have it if no other XJ's with the same engine, don't.

Thanks!!!
Actually, this time of year I'm up to four Benadryl a night, and rotate Claratin and Zyrtec in the AM, depending on what seems to be a problem that week.
It's not pleasant. Funny thing is, I didn't have any clue I was allergic to anything until, at age 28, I moved to Colorado.
Here it is, 14 years later, and I forgot how much of a drag it is. Year-round, to boot.
Even in Oregon, land of if-you-plant-a-pebble-a-road-will-grow, nothing bothered me.
