What Type Of Supercharger Does Jag Use on the 2003 to 2009 models
Where can I get a tech breakdown on what type it is and how it works , how far back has Jaguar used this unit on the 4.0 V8 ?
The supercharger on the 4.0 and 4.2L V8s is an Eaton m112 model that is used in lots of different cars:
Roots Gen V (Fifth Generation Supercharger)
They are all the same internally but have different snouts and mounting bits depending on what vehicle they go into.
Earlier XJR6 models used the smaller m90. The new 5.0L uses an Eaton TVS which is somewhere between a roots type and a twin screw.

I recall something like that upgrade Cambo. Interesting to look at the efficiency maps of the V 's vs. the newer TVS. Still, twin screw would be nice! TVS is part of why the new 5.0 engine hits 100hp per liter.
