Maybe I used the wrong term, but I removed the wiper and replaced the blade and then put the wiper back on. Other then removing the washer hose, it took seconds to get it off. I found that easier then leaning over the hood and doing it.

Hi,
I bough AR608S from Bosch.
They fit perfectly, they include the spray mechanism and they are flat...just perfect,

'06 s-type VDP. Just replaced the inserts, using parts from jaguarparts.com. Simple job after removing wiper from arm. Will go to cheaper inserts next time, since $12 shipping raises the total too much. Since mine is an '06, the washer works through the wiper itself (what could they have been thinking?) Somewhere else on this forum is a set of pics I found extremely helpful and which highlighted the little plastic thingy which has to be pried upwards to release the wiper from the arm's j-hook.

I am a bit bemused by the attention everybody seems to give to getting new wiper blades at the very last cent of cheapness.
Hey Guys, surely these are not expensive things compared to all the other stuff needed for maintenance !! FWIW I change mine about every 2 years or so.

2008 xj8L. Awful "chatter" with new OEM blades. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Mike
