Default 1995 XJR oil filter removal

Is there a trick to removing the oil filter from a 1995 XJR with supercharger? I got the filter off but can't get it out from the bottom and there's no room at the top of the engine to take it out. Thanks. Mark

10mm head bolts and swing the brace out of the way!
You are making it harder than it is.

I completed an oil & filter change only last week, nothing requires removal other than the oil filter, it is able to be removed.

And a trick going back is to use the V8 filter from a 1998-03 XJ8. Same threads and gasket size, but a much smaller body.

You have a RHD car, the steering column gets in the way on a LHD car.

As motorcarman said, its quite easy once you unbolt the small brace thats in the way from the engine block and swing it to the side.
i also didnt know of that trick the first time, and made a mess trying to get the filter out first.
