Default 95 XJ6 Sudden Compressor Quit

My A/C system has been running beautifully until last night when the compressor stopped engaging.

Is there a fuse for this? What else might I check?

You might have a blown fues or yiou might be low on refrigerant. There is a low pressure shut off switch near the right dside firewall.

Thanks, Ross.

I am going to go through the manual for the fuse location here in a bit.

Could it really be low on refrigerant even when it was cooling so well just prior to it not working?

JB:
The fuses involved are #8 and #10 in the RH engine bay box. The clutch relay is in a group of three immediately behind the RH headlamp. It is the one of the three towards the center of the car. If you have don't figure it out right away, get a 12 volt test lamp and check back for more.
Good luck

Auto repair says condenser has been punctured!

The car's rock guard has gradually come off and I'm wondering if I should have tried to repair it?

Last year the clutch on my compressor died. I ended up replacing the entire compressor and clutch assembly. I sourced a real Denso compressor from a Jag parts place just outside of Houston TX for approx $300 and had it shipped to my home in Canada and fitted by a local AC specialist. Ran the car today for the first time since October and I still have ice cold AC.
