Default 96 XJ6 Fuel Filter Location.....

Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 96 XJ6 please, thanks.

It's up under the Driverside rear wheel arch. If you get underneath and look up and behind the rear coil spring you will see it. just follow the fuel lines from the tank. It's a bit tight and you will get covered in fuel but it's doable.

MMMM, Drivers side depends on where the driver sits.

Behind the LHR (Left Hand Rear) wheel arch INNER area, just near the LH output shaft.

As said, easily seen from under the car, once raised on ramps etc.

watch out for the little rubber o rings on the pipe ends. Easily dislodged, and it won't seal without them. Ask me how I know.......

It would be nice if both Eurocarz99 and JohnsJag fixed their info so we knew where they are. It does matter for info on these cars!

How do you know?

Although I am embarrassed how long it took me to find the fuel filter--more than three months--out of desperation I searched it up on YouTube and got lucky two days ago .

In retro respect, I should I have visited YouTube eons ago...it's always the last place you look...
