Amber High Beam Lenses

Amber High Beam Lenses
Where can I get amber high beam lenses?
I like the look.
They may not be legal but I don't care.
I'm above the law.
I can't really see a use for high beams anyway.
If it's so foggy or snowy or smoky that it's hard to see, I've found that high beams just make it even harder to see.
I was in a blizzard once that was so bad I had to turn off my headlights and drive by the light of my emergency flashers!
When I came upon another car, then I would turn on my headlights to pass them but the snow was so heavy that I literally could not see anything but millions of large white snowflakes with any lights other than the emergency flashers.
Of course, I shouldn't have been on the highway in those conditions but this happened suddenly one night while I was taking night classes.
I had to get off the Cape. They closed the school and told us to go home.
I had no choice.
That's my take on high beams.
So, where can I get the groovy amber high beam lenses?

Never seen any. Don't you want them to be yellow, not amber like the turn signals? It is true, the high beams are the opposite of fog lights. However, if you were to put a set of low beam light assemblies in the high beam positions, and made them yellow.... you could get off the cape in a blizzard quite easily.
I think there are translucent spray paints that could be used on the lenses. I was thinking about looking for a translucent "smoke" so I could do the amber turn signals and markers, and have them match the rear smoked turn signals to some extent. I love the rear smoked turn signals. Unique to the X300. Much better than the bright X308 signals!!
However if you do that It may not pass inspection in RI (unless you are above the law). In AZ we don't have any inspections besides emissions (unless car is a salvage rebuild). It's the wild west out here!

Pretty neat. Not to my taste though. Rhett is around here somewhere I think. What about yellow filming the actual fog lights too? If you put low beam lenses in the high beam positions you could drive around with all four headlights on. That would be cool. Should improve night vision and wouldn't blind the heck out of anyone.
My thing is going to be to de-orange the turn signals. I'll have to run a few experiments.

I'm not sure how strict they'll be here in Rhode Island when it comes to things like funny colored headlights.
They sure aren't strict when it comes to potholes the size of small wading pools!
They not strict when it comes to the streets flooding when it rains a little and all the street lights stop working.
I might not get hassled because by the police because they've got their hands full with
all those little japanese cars with blacked out windows and supersonic loud stereo systems popping spot welds.
I might just get away with it.
I might not.
I've found some film that I can apply to the highbeam lamp itself.
If I still have "The Leaper" in two years when it gets inspected again, I'll burn that bridge when I get to it.
