Boot lights not working.
I had the entire boot lining removed for cleaning out mouse droppings and I remembered that one of the boot lights had pushed through the lining on the lid. I tried popping it back in but something didn't seem right. So I popped out the plastic push plugs to get a look and the surround that the light goes into had come undone from the liner. I took the whole liner out to do it not the table. The other one was intact but not by much. While I had it out I tested both bulbs and they were good but I've never noticed them being on while in place. I epoxied the plastic piece that holds the lights back in and reinstalled the liner but as I suspected the lights do not come on. I checked the user manual and I didn't see a specific fuse for those lights. The boot open light on the dash does work. Any ideas?
The contacts looked good. Luckily I saw no evidence of wires being chewed while I was cleaning the rest of the boot. I guess it's still a possibility. Maybe a relay, but I would assume the lights came off of the same switch as the boot ajar light on the dash. I could be wrong on that one. I haven't noticed any other lights being out. Maybe the plate light. I haven't checked that one.
