Default Connector

Both of my fan connectors broke on my radiator fan. Anyone have any idea where I could get these? I got a few from Amazon but they were too small. Heck I would take them used if you have a parts car

Pull the lock tab out too far ?

Old plastic

I have a spare pigtail with connector for testing purposes so will keep that and may have a 2nd spare

There will probably be some at the salvage yard to cut off , how long of a pigtail ?

Working on a Chevy S10 small truck now that ripped out the drive shaft , not to the extent of a mechanical disaster , at least snow off driveway

Go Cheifs , even homies can't keep the team spelling straight

I haven't been to the salvage yard I go to so pickings may be slim but now have a VW Beetle to get around

Saturday salvage yard closed

The one far right fan pigtail is the longest to the fan control module

By phone they don't have any X300s left in the yard

Will physically look in their yard on visit in about an hour before they close for weekend

Went to the yard and no 300s

The connectors for the 308s are close but didn't pull until comparing against mine

I can take one of my spares to compare but not open until Monday

The fan end of the connectors are the same.
The end to the control module (relay) is different X300 to X308 if I remember correctly.

Thanks Bob , the X308 fan end connectors at the salvage yard look more modern but same size at the fans so cautioned

I will try again to get the large connector off but in the end just the wires will be spliced in ( waterproof )

Luckily the wire run is very exposed on the salvage car

I should have a spare X300 fan unit to test at the salvage yard in the garage somewhere

A Judge told my brother that I'm staying with that since I was declared 100 % disabled that he should dispose of my car when I'm not looking , and me not going forward in life

My brother at least tossed all my stuff to the other garage side to roll car into garage

Wow , I can write a book

I did it over the weekend, and we will see if they work. Bought a couple with two different part numbers. If it fits I will just cut the connectors off

Send David an email here:

Probably one of the most useful parts resources I know of
