X308 radiator fan connector
Looking to pull the wire loom for both radiator fans
This would include both fan connectors and as it joins into one a large connector before the fan control module
Any idea of how to unlock the large connector , I tried the obvious looking lock but no joy or broken / froze push tab , the fan ends are easy
It was cold plastic so plan on a hot water bath at the salvage yard
Don't recall that large connector on the very same setup on my X300 inline 6 as will be utilized on a X300 with broken fans connectors for another contributor
I realize there was major wiring and connector type changes between the X300 and X308
Thanks for your advice in advance

If you take a picture of the connector in question and post it here, the guessing game will be easier.
If the connector looks like what a quick google search of mine suggests, then press down (carefully, as it might break) that latch, which "comes out of the tunnel-like shape" and pull the connector apart.
Of course, it is quite possible that this latch has already been broken off, in which case the solution is to use a right size flat screwdriver and poke into the "tunnel" to press down the remainder of the broken off latch and then pull the connector apart.
It might help, if you spray WD40 or similar onto the connector, which does not want to budge...

Thanks Peter ,
The common tab push down and tunnel looked to be what it was with tab missing , Yard closing too soon for Friday , small screwdriver insert with whole connector spray trick should work )
Having issues of setup to get phone pic to computer
I have those very very small screwdrivers
salvage yard closed until Monday to get back

> Having issues of setup to get phone pic to computer
You could try to "pair" your phone with your computer, and thereafter transmit the picture from the phone to the computer via bluetooth...

If it's android & you've got the free photo backup turned on, you can access the google photos on your PC.
That's the easiest way these days, apple does something similar but I don't know what it's called.

It's a mater of sending the pic in phone ( found file ) by E- Mail ( E - mail feature available ) to laptop computer address
Cheap 30 dollar Tracphone brand I have not tried to directly link to website although that internet option is there
Gotta key in address with the phone keys and the patients to do so
I'm not a text savey person to key in the letters so that's my laziness
End the end the X300 user does not have this connector and will splice in waterproof 4 medium gage wire butt plugs , more as a gestor to the salvage yard owner I have a good relationship with and not just butcher the salvage car
Yard will probably not be open until Tuesday because of the holiday , I know the post office for shipping will not
I'll check on if salvage yard open on Monday by phone and make another trip

The X300 Harness Link Lead for the cooling fans is LNA3125AE
The X308 Harness Link Lead for the cooling fans is LNF3125AA
I read the tag on some of the link harnesses and the number for X308 is also LNC3125AA
I see them listed on ebay.
