Dripping oil from dipstick

Dripping oil from dipstick
Hey everyone,
I noticed some small amounts of oil on the floor today.
I put her on a ramp and noticed oil dripping from the dipstick area.
Cleaned the area, drove abit and made these pictures.
On the pictures you can clearly see that oil is dripping from the designated area.
I read something about clogged crankcase ventilation, some early models have a breather hose attached to the dipstick, mine has not.
Can anyone advice me how to approach this problem?
What do I do with this?
I really want to change the oil soon, but i can not do that with this issue.

The rubber sleeve at the bottom of the dipstick is available for pennies from Jaguar.
However, I would check carefully if that is actually where the leak is. A more likely source is near the the cooler bypass O rings near the filter. Just above and to the left of the dip stick. This is a common failure point and allows oil to pool on the sump flange and may be just dripping near the dip stick.
There is a good write up of changing the O rings somewhere on here. I think it was by alholbro1.

Today i had the chance to put the car on a bridge and had a much better peek where the oil is coming from.
I found the source to be the old style sender unit. I can get the new sender unit for a fair price, but the price for the new cable is giving me headache.
Does anyone have some good advice where to get these parts for a fair price? Or maybe another solution?
Part numbers : LNA5642ca , LMD3325BA
Also I found a piece of this seal laying on top of the marked spot on the photo
Is there a seal between the block and the sender unit?
In my JEPC its not clear its number: C22964

I believe the only seal is the brass washer shown in my picture you referenced.....but that was a Loooongg time ago....
Possibly a chunk of oil-filter-gasket?
If you are talking about the wiring-jumper of the oil pressure "fix kit" it is just an in-line resistor - you could probably fabricate your own fairly cheaply - I don't recall the resistance value but an extensive search will likely reveal it. Not absolutely certain you need it. My gauge runs just proud of the middle mark without inst panel reprogram, but with resistor fitted. Likely, without the resistor it would run elswhere....but if anywhere other than the high or low peg, you'd be fine.

I received the new style sensor with part number LNA5642CA.
The parts guy took it from an engine and he told me there were no additional cables connected to it.
I found the data for the resistor in the cable, so I will probably make my own.
"The resistor in the link lead P/N LMD3325BA is 150 Ohms, 5% tolerance, one watt. Color bands for that resistance are Brown/Green/Brown and Gold tolerance band."
However, do I really need this cable since the part guy told me there were no extra cables from the engine he took it from. He even walked back to the engine to check it again.
Also i really want to know about this tsb I found, about updating the instrument pack.
Can someone tell me if this is necesary when im going to perform this fix?
