Default Driver leg room

Are there different limits to how far the seat moves back? I'd like to create a little more leg room for the driver.

Not sure I understand what you mean.

The seat moves forward and the seat moves back. Are you saying that as far back as it goes is not enough for leg room comfort for you?

Yes, I feel as though the seat is not back far enough for me, however I believe that it is back all the way that it can go.

Check from the back seat. The mounting bolts will be coverd and the seat frame should be just beyond the track.

Mine does not move back as far as I would like, but that's true of all cars. I was able to put a spacer in my XK8 and move the seat 2", but that is not as simple with the XJ6.

I'm about 6', and when the seat is all the way back, I can't even think about reaching the pedals.

Height is not the problem, it's legs. My inseam is 34" and very few cars are comfortable.

I would have surmised that there were a few positions that the tracks could be bolted into depending on the client, but I haven't checked it out. Thought perhaps someone else might have encountered this before I set out to pull up the carpet, etc. My Jag is a vanden plas and for reference, the side of the seat does not go back past the pillar.
