Exhaust Part?
While replacing my manifolds, I seemed to have stripped the hoses that go into the manifolds. Does anyone know what these are, what they are used for, and what the part is called so I can search for another one?

I guess I will have to find one on a salvaged car since the only place I have seen them is in the UK. What is interesting is that I put them in as far as I could, put a little gasket material around them, and had no errors. Must not be a whole lot of pressure
The secondary air injection ( smog ) pump only runs for 60 seconds off the top of my head
There may be an issue if you have to do an exhaust emission test based on your location
But this depends on what point in time they take the readings
A leak in the line fittings is a different story on effecting or biasing the O2 sensors to get the proper fuel trim and unburnt hydrocarbons which is an emissions test look at
So if the smog pump is running you would be injecting fresh unconsumed O2 just upstream of the O2 sensors , but the O2 sensors are not used until the engine coolant temp semsor sees 88 C ( closed loop )
So in effect the smog pump is diluting the exhaust just enough to cheat the emissions test and get passed
We have the 2 things working against each other so there is a balance or sequence that must be meet

On a side note, I replaced all my O2 sensors, and there seems to be a little "more pep in her step" and not sure if that is it or just changing out the manifolds with ceramic-coated ones.
Still looking for this part if anyone is parting out a car. Pretty pissed at myself for not taking it off my parts car before sending it to the crusher. Next time I will know. The only one I have found online is across the pond on eBay. Not yet ready to pay the shipping on this.

I am in the middle of taking parts from a donor car and wasn't going to be taking the hoses.
Can you confirm you need just Parts 5 & 6 in the link?
They're yours if you pay for shipping. Drop me a message.
