Which Fuse Can I Tap?
Hi Johncy,
I have moved your post from an old thread on transmission fluid to begin your own thread. Please let us know the year and model of your Jaguar and I will post a link to the Electrical Guide for your model that will help you with whatever reason you want to tap into the electrical system.
P.S. It's helpful if you add the year, model and engine of your Jaguar to your signature so others don't have to ask in order to give an accurate reply.
Cheers,
Don

Grab a test light or multimeter. If you're looking for constant voltage test for voltage at the fuses with the key out of the ignition.
If you're looking for accessory voltage test for voltage at the fuse with the key in the on position and make sure you lose power when you remove the key.
Add a fuse on the wire you're tapping in with either with a fuse holder or an add a circuit fuse adapter.
From what I understand with the add a circuit fuse adapter you put the original amp fuse closest to the legs of the adapter that take the place of the fuse you are tapping into, and the amperage fuse for whatever your wiring in at the top spot.
