Default Heated seats

For those that have functioning heated seats how warm do they actually get. I can not tell if I can feel them or not as they might need to be repaired.

If you can't feel it, it isn't working

There are 5 fuses involved . Will start with driver seat first because that's my favorite one as a NAS ( North American Standard ) option as there are others .

# 6 / 5 amp LH Heelboard Fuse Box

# 3 / 20 amp RH Heelboard Fuse Box

# 4 / 20 amp RH Heelboard Fuse Box

# 9 / 25 amp RH Heelboard Fuse Box

# 12 / 10 amp RH Heelboard Fuse Box

To read the heating element read for resistance at socket 9 ( black wire ) through 10 ( red wire ) of the front seat control module connector SM1 - D located under the seat

You don't want to see a complete open ( high ) or complete close ( 0 ) on the element .

Non Premium seats do not have a seat control module , just 2 fuses and a relay

# 5 / 10 amp Trunk Fuse Box

# 9 / 25 amp RH Heelboard Fuse Box

Relay location under the seat

To read the element you would read resistance from the Orange / Pink wire at the relay to ground . You will be reading through a parallel circuit path for the dash switch light

It seems to take about 5 minutes before I can feel any heat on the tushy and lower back. Then it feels real nice! Butt, after a while it can get a little too warm. Sometimes I have to switch it off, but it will eventually turn off by itself anyhow.
