How could we drive anything else? Jags are automobile art
I've been patiently waiting over the last few weeks for my coat of wax to slowly vanish wash after wash since I stored her at the end of last fall.
Now that I have all my professional equipment I spent a couple hours making today her showroom condition.
Used swirl remover on hood & trunk for the first time (machined), then machined pure polish, and a nice machined coat of wax. The Meguiars DA Polish that I have been using the last month or so is 100% amazing, as are the professional line of Mirror Glaze product lines.
Couldn't resist taking pics and sharing them with all my fellow Jag lovers on here!
Standing next to her in person you'd think it belonged in a museum now.
It doesn't matter whether I have to put 3 transmissions in or replace the supercharger 5x in this XJR; it's with me til the end.
Whether you have an XJ6/8/R, the X300 & X308 bodystyle are truly gorgeous and always keep us smiling when we look back.

Thanks for the comments guys.
my custom license plate is up this fall. I don't know what I will do with it though due to moving to Phoenix in a couple months. AZ has custom plates too, but their plates aren't 8 numbers/letters long like in NYS. They're only 7!
So it would not flow as nice as HADABENZ...it'd have to be HADBENZ. kind of cornier don't you think?
History lesson on that plate: I had it on my old XJ6 as well. It is in honor of my very first automobile and what started my passion for European autos.
1985 380SE Benz with 209,000 miles when I sold her. Body was gorgeous. Without a doubt that's the closest thing I have ever driven to a TANK.
