Default Just bought a strange set of wheels off FBMP

Last night I drove three hours to pick up this unusual set of wheels.
I have never seen these before. Can anyone identify these?

Even the center badge looks unusual to me.
I thought most center badges were a background color with silver cats head but these are a gold colored cats head.
Any thoughts?

BTW, these wheels looks like they have never been installed on a car.
They are in pristine condition.

These look like 7-spoke XJ8 wheels, as you can see from https://www.originalwheels.com/jagua...j81998rims.php . The gold logo caps were probably taken from a Vanden Plas or some dealer's option package.

Will XJ8 wheels fit on a 1995 - 1997 X300 car?
Or are the center bores or something else different?

Should be fine, it's not until the later S-type and X350s that things start to get incompatible. I swap wheels between my X300 and my X100 all the time, and my X100 is running X308 wheels right now.

They are the common Jaguar XJ8 lunar wheels. (7J x 16)
The wheel badges come in RED, GREEN or GREY.
Mostly silver 'growler'.
I actually have 27 of these wheels between running cars and parts cars.(and a few VDP wheels WITHOUT hubcaps)

Thats a nice find, I like them. Rare to find in such good shape. Those P4000 might be originals! Don't drive too fast on them.

I bought a set of the ruby/gold center caps some years ago, perfect for the XJ12, but the gold faded out to silver within a couple of years.
