Hi again and help :-)
My transmission light is flickering
My son plugged it his code reader and the code P 1777 MIL Fault showed up.
Can't find what it is ? ? ?
I do not have the license plates for the car yet. I drove it 5 or 6 block in open trafic in town and all seems quite normal. But I have not been on the freeway yet.
If anyone has an idea about this code, he is more than welcome.
Thanks
Claude

Dear Motorcarman
Thanks for all these bulletins. My car is in the fisrt bulletin (08-1-01 DTC P1777.pdf) and according to this bulletin the flashing light indicates that the TCM should be repalced.
I ordered one and I will replace it.
Do you know, by any chance (or anybody else) where it is located in the car? the bulletin mentions under the passenger side but is it inside our outside?
Do you know if something specific has to be done after replacing the TCM?
Thanks again for your help.

Hi, the TCM is under the passenger side glove box, or airbag if you have no glove box. it I think it's just held up there with one bolt. is silver with a large connector with lots of wires. very simple to change. I may end up needing one myself. Mike
Thank you Wintookit
I will let you know as soon it is replaved...and if it helped or not :-)
Good week end to all
