Search for "Rochester Valve". They commonly fail an can be replaced with an AC Delco variant for about $20. The member who posted the writeup was so kind as to even list the exact part# for you. Replace sooner than later as that excess pressure puts undue stress on both the fuel pump and fuel tank.

Received my valve today. First thing that I noticed is the markings on the valve. Tank, canister and vacuum. The vacuum is pointed in the opposite direction from the OEM valve. I needed to replace the vacuum line with a slightly longer piece in order to reach around to the other side.

Did anyone else notice this or just put the valve on backwards? So far no problems!

I originally replaced this rochester valve with the ac delco version some time back. I didnt notice any difference and it went right on, looks exactly like the oem. I have had no problems, I hope i didnt put it backwards.
