I dont know much about jaguar's so hopefully someone can help! Im not sure if i need a kickdown cable cause the acceleration is off it catches sometimes and she takes off other times i have to throw it in netural so she dont stall

 

Are you saying that the engine might die unless you put it in neutral?

 

Have you experimented to see if there is any difference in behavior in Sport mode vs. Normal mode?
