I only have miles on the car and that's about it,on the odo, I wonder if I can take the battery cable loose for about 10-15 sec. would reset the system ?

Do you mean you have no warning lights (arrowed red and green in the pic) - just the total miles showing in the Message Centre arrowed in blue?

Also, the miles in the Message Centre doesn't change to other displayed info when you press the 'trip' button on the end of the multifunction switch?

Thanks for the reply, the only thing I have when I push the is the options ,then I push it again and just 0.0 until I reset and go back to the total miles on the odo, I disconnected the bat. but nothing, changed , I am stumped Satterfield , Semper FI

press on the signal light lever, push the end of the lever towards the steering wheel and it will cycle through more information.

Are you pushing the 'trip' button (arrowed in red) or the 'ODO' button (arrowed in blue)?

It sounds as if your aren't cycling through the trip options.

Confession -I had the same trouble until I realised that pushing in the end of the left hand indicator stalk cycled through all the trip computer options.

Like any good Kiwi male, I had not bothered to read the instructions..

OK , I went out to auto and read the info. as I went, and there it was TRIP ,I started to push and it work like a charm, I felt a little dumb when I started seeing all the information, anyway Thanks Guys, Satterfield
