Rear Diff capacity?

Can anyone tell me what the rear diff capacity is on an x300?

Seeing on the Amsoil website, it says it's 2.7 pints which is about 1.35 quarts.

Does that sound right?

I had mine changed while the XJR was at the mechanics for a coolant leak. It used just a bit under 2 qts.

Now when you guys fill it up, do you guys fill it while its jacked up in the air until the fluid starts to come out of the filler hole?
