Rear exhaust manifold bolt

I can't get a socket on the rear exhaust manifold bolt. I have mid rise Snap-on's on they get close going from underneath, but I just can't clear the bend.

What has anyone else used to get this thing off?

Snap-on 8" stubby 14mm open end got it out. The rest of the removal is just as bad. Jag used oblong nuts on all of the studs, *******s.
