I don’t know how you drive, but I went with slotted front rotors and red stuff front pads in my XJR because when fast driving on a local windy road, I was getting brake fade after a few miles. I’ve upgraded an earlier non-Jag car I owned similarly and never regretted it - it saved my hide a few times under normal driving conditions in heavy traffic

OEM and Akebono
I had my OEM rotors turned, and they are still good at least after 50k miles (they may be older, I don't know as I bought the car with 40k miles). The OEM rotors are very heavy and seemingly quite good. So if you still have your OEM rotors, you may want to see if they can be turned. O'reilly auto parts turns them for about $15 each.
After quite a bit of research, I settled on the Akebono Euro ceramic pads. They offer a good balance between good performance, long lasting (again, 50k + miles so far) and almost no dust.
For regular road driving without too much high performance focus, this is a good option.

Hi xjfourty,
You don't mention the year and model of your Jaguar, but over the years, companies that have made original equipment brake pads and rotors for Jaguar include:
Girling
Dunlop
Jurid Werke
Lucas (probably made by Jurid)
Ate
Mintex
Ferodo
Bendix
Brembo
Honeywell (now part of Federal-Mogul)
Textar (X358)
ITT Motion Technologies (current XJ)
You can't go wrong with any of the above, depending on the vintage of your Jag.
For reduced dust, I add my vote for the excellent Akebono ceramics, but Centric and NAPA Adaptive One ceramics are great too, sometimes at lower prices.
For rotors, I really like the coated ones from Zimmerman and Bosch, and I've had no problems with non-coated ones from Brembo, Pagid, Ate, Centric, Wagner and NAPA Gold and NAPA Altrom (typically sourced from an OEM). For normal driving, I recommend non-drilled non-slotted rotors, since those can cause mild brake pedal pulsations and are really unnecessary unless you brake hard frequently and repeatedly like AL NZ!
Cheers,
Don
