Default Servotronic Module Bad Joint?

No boosted ps at low speed since I bought it in March.
10v and 0v at transducer - other end of short harness the same
Module ...
Blue 12.8v
Black 0v
white 12.1v
Red 0v
Grey 0v

Reved up still 0s, Blue & White increased 1-2v

Took case off module.

Found what looks like corrosion at solder joint.
I'd like a second/third opinion b4 I try to clean it up.

The module is " apparently " the same used on Volvos , I would expect also BMW's big 700 series as they use the same rack 7852 ( their's may not be servo reduced )

You will see some information in the ZF steering shop manual and the page before the steering schematic pic in the X300 wiring guide as the termed " break out sheet "

The attached articles should be of some assistance to you.
Further to my notes, I have since fitted a Volvo module and system is functioning ok.

I cleaned and resoldered the module making no difference.
Bought a module off eBay - no difference.

Will study up on the pdf’s when I can bring myself up to obsess about this subject.

I have a private parking spot which is a steep incline so I can’t raise the rear tire to see if the sensor is working. Speedo is working so I’m guessing sensor is ok. Whatapain.

The transducer is showing 3.3 ohms. It's supposed to be 7.8 ohms.

The transducer plug at idle is 13+ volts. According to Johns testing it should be 7.8

I ran 7.8 volts to the transducer. No clicking heard or felt. No change in steering effort.

My uneducated guess is both the transducer and module are bad?

Im open to any suggestions. Runs & looks too good to scrap.

The Jag 'specialist' saw me coming bright eyed with pocket loads of money.

So I ordered another module (used w/30 day return).

No change.

I'd like someone to back me up.

When a working x300 is idling (or revving) and NOT moving, the power steering should be super easy to operate.

The servotronic module should be outputting 7.8 volts (with 0 impulse from wheel sensor) to the servotronic transducer.

Right?

So if the transducer is receiving 13± (charging) volts it probably got fried due to a bad module.

Solution: keep ordering modules until I'm broke or find one that works.

Whenever I ran into this it was always the pump.
A weak pump will not provide the pressure at idle.
If you can raise the idle and the steering becomes normal, the pump is weak.

Default Power Steering

Thanks.
Revving makes no difference.
