In order to do that, the top-part of the door trim must be removed.
Remove the interior door handle surrounds by prising off the little plastic circular bit and undo-ing the screw.
Slide the timber panel towards the front of the car to disengage the two retaining clips, and the whole timber trim should come free, and give you access to two more screws.
There is one more screw to be undone, hidden behind the circular rubber seal that leads to the door vents.
A couple of plastic pop-rivets later, and the top door-trim should be free.
