Default Sunroof windnoise

The sunroof is repaired, drain channels replaced, SLCM calibrated and in the closed position it's positioned perfectly flush with the body. Is there anything I can do to reduce the wind noise? It's especially noticeable above 120km/h or over 75mph.

New seal? They are expensive, and apparently difficult to fit, but it would seem logical. Or drive below 75!

Drive below 75......yea right. Don't know if my car will. She just wants to go. The seal? Don't even want to think about taking that headliner out. I guess I will deal with it.

The seal I was referring to is on the sunroof panel. Roof lining doesnt need to be touched. Maybe try a little bit of grease or silicone on the rubber of the seal to see if it makes a difference?

Does anyone have the procedure to pull the panel out? I need to get the seal replaced, The New Mexico sun has totally trashed it. I will find the seal if I can but the panel I thought the headline had to come out. And does anyone have a JD200 Crimping tool for rent?

There is a TSB on installing the seal , you may have to fabricate the tool

This coming from someone who has mot replaced their seal

See page 8 illustration 11

jaguar Service Tool 501-023

13-39 (jagrepair.com)

A generic version of the crimping tool may be looked at with a body shop visit

Well got lucky. So I had another sunroof that I took off my parts car. I pulled off the seal and put it on my current sunroof. Went on like butter. Put some WD40 inside the seal, heat the seal a little, and used a rubber mallet to push the seal on. Now need a second hand to help align the roof, and I will be done. If the seal is used, you don't need the tool. Just a little patience.
