Thinking about doing an overhaul of my intake/throttle body for the XJR and cleaning everything and while I'm in there might as well replace the lower radiator hose and rebuild the supercharger.
There are plenty enough guides out there for the radiator hose replacement but what I can't find much information about is rebuilding the supercharger. Thinking about sending it out for porting once it's rebuilt..
If anyone can point me in the direction of some guides or parts for the rebuild, that'd be great.
If you don't find enough Jaguar specific info, try the GM 3800 (Pontiac and Buick especially) boards where 1000s of Eaton SCs were fitted. The rebuild info shouldn't be specific to the auto manufacturer.
Well gotta put this post on hold. Took the xjr up into the mountains to test my new subframe bushings and hit a boulder. Bumper, condenser, radiator, fans, and possibly intercooler is all gone.
Gotta work on replacing all that first

That is terrible luck. Hope you are ok and the car has no lasting damage.
Wow, sorry to hear and see that. What terrible luck. I know that was really disappointing.....
BTW, was your car originally green, now black? It looks like it was in the photos where the paint is scraped off. Or is a trick of the light, or some primer that is green?

I think the originaly color was british racing green but the previous owner had it repainted a darker green. some people think it's black and some people say it's green. Honestly at night without too much lighting it's black

That's unlucky. At least insurance was able to cover your damages. It's going to be tough to prove that anyone was at fault so all repairs are coming out of pocket
