Are these newer type original Jag centercaps or aftermarket?
They are on my XJR6 but i don't like them very much, kinda cheap looking.
I have the older style centercaps laying around in my garage, not a matching set of 4 but using them left and right no one will notice the difference in color ;-)

You can remove the color from the inside and repaint , saw some people doing that

the original fragile inside clips can be repaired with JB Weld ( ? )

The originals are still on parts websites , just color limited

What kind of wheels are you working with on the R model as from my understanding the " dimple " style are not standard on the R

 

Yeah and the originals are very pricey and not very strong.

But the above robotic style centercaps are not original at all?

Question on if the originals cap will fit that wheel ( I think that is an original R wheel but don't have the knowledge base )

The robo cap may have come from a different model / years

The top caps are for later cars, genuine Jaguar, just not X300.
