Default Want to fit new wheels,

Want to fit a set of 18 " rims to my 1997 x300. Looking at 8.5 front 9.5 rear, offset is ok as well as PCD, anyone confirm they will fit ok in the rear arches etc?.

how much is the offset?
that depends on the offset of the wheel.

That will work without problems, especially on the front.
On the rear you will be able to put on 275 tires at most, I think.

Got 20" with 235 by 30 profile in the end, looks real gangsta.
