Default Wheel Fitment Question

I ran across a thread today showing an x300 with the Double 5 wheels from an xkr on it and in MHO it looked good. The OP said they bolted right up, just wanted to confirm that they would. I know bolt pattern is the same but wanted to be sure the hubs couldn't be a problem. Also, I know that a lot of people (myself included) consider the XJR Asteroids, same question on the hubs.
I'm sure the question has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer on whether an adapter was needed.

Thanks!

I have Asteroids on my X300, no problems.
As to the double 5 pattern, others will know better than me, but for a definitive answer, Steve of sbwheels.co.uk will certainly know

Default 5 spoke xjr wheels in a 95 vdp

No fitment issues for me. I like the stock size ride way better though. These may be for sale soon.

Double 5's fit fine, BUT if you have lowered your jag at all, they will rub on full lock.
I have had them fully refurbed since (in Chrome powercoat), but not yet fitted them.

Thanks all, appreciate the replies.

dfieldsend, they look great! I think they set the car off nicely, they give it an updated sporty flare and it still looks refined (to me at least). I hope I can find a set. Thanks for posting, look forward to seeing a pic after the chrome gets mounted!

Dear Kongo1
I'm a newbie to the forum. The jag I recently bought has some slightly bent rims that need to be reconditioned. In my search for new wheels and considering different wheel and tire size, I had to educate myself about "consequences" of changing. In this process I found this incredible site that has all the info about whats stock on many makes/models of cars, including ours - and that makes COMPLETE calculations for every parameter that might change when changing wheels, including diagrams that change with the new input. Here's the link - I think it may be useful.

Regards
