Well, I thought I had it. Went out this morning, and the same thing. If the car is off, the flap seems to close with no issues. Spring is doing its job. However, if it is running, the flap does not close all the way. You have to give it a little bump. So it looks like I have to hope that the dealer can fix it.

if you need a TPS reset i will mail you the older tool just put a deposit down on it. the new jag dealer tool is a POS on the older cars

disconnect your IAC and see if your RPMs slam down off throttle. a bad TPS will keep operating the stepper and weird stuff happens

Sure thing. Pm me where you want the deposit sent to I will pay for shipping and I will see if I can figure it out. Man I love this forum

After changing out my throttle body, adjusting my throttle cable and getting the tool from Xalty, which was a nice gift allowing me to use it, my car is running great.... Now what is next?
