Default X300: Help! Cannot be started

Good morning,

Here is my concern;

- A friend came yesterday with a "suitcase" and plugged it in
it has seen a defect (temperature sensor), it therefore to delete it
and since;

- Unable to start car

When I put the contact, all the lights light up then turn off
and
I turn the key
and there:
- Nothing, no noise and no start
moreover
after I can’t remove the key,
I am obliged to disconnect the battery to release it

The boating is new

Thank you all for your help as my current fortune does not allow me to go to the Jaguar Garage!

No starter rotation ?

IF STARTER DOES ROTATE

The OBD 2 port has a power wire that shares the same fuse that controls the fuel pump relay , fuse # 10

Someone found a bent pin in the OBD 2 port

I don’t think the starter is spinning

because no noises at all
(as if the battery was removed)
and then I can not remove the key, force to disconnect the battery for this

before putting this "suitcase" the car demarrais well!

Does the starter solenoid relay ( large # 4 left ) click with your finger on it and not sound as there are other clicks going on in the area , this splits the starter rotation issue in half and other system issues will work on later

3.2 liter engine ?

Rear seat right side behind the passengers' ankles

The # 1 ( one ) fuse is closest to the large terminal post on the fuse box

To ensure you have power to all points of the car

Have key in run position but engine not running

Remove the relay in the corner of each 5 fuse boxes with the exception of the left engine bay fuse box

The relay should click in your fingertips

The left engine bay fuse box relay is a swapping option , only runs the car horn

If ALL the lights went off, including engine management, then isn’t it immobilised?
It might be worth using the fob to lock unlock the doors as that sometimes resets the security module.
If that fails then your friend may have reset more than he intended and you may need to re attache the key to the car!

You could try wiggling the gear stick in case the park switch is temperamental, I can see the key not coming out if the car didn’t think it was in park.

Re Bonjour
Sorry for the moment I can not take too much care of my Jaguar x300
I’m "nailed" to bed with bad flu

But I still call Garage Jaguar
and they can of course if I bring the car
look at this defect
this around May 15th and of course at the price of 150th/ hour

I keep you informed as soon as possible!

Re Bonjour,

Well here’s the problem is solved
indeed, I contact the seller, who repairs from time to time Jaguar,
this one tells me to do;

- disassemble battery and put lug + and lug - in direct contact

I hesitated, but after doing it and waited about 30 seconds

The car is restarting...

So thank you all for your help and see you soon on our roads!!
