Default 1998 XK8 Starting Issue

Not sure of actual cause or how to successfully remedy. Fully charged battery but multiple key turns needed to start engine often just get clicks 2-6 turns and at times will start but need to push on gas pedal at times as some hesitation/gurgling noise occurs then will turn over(not sure if fuel pump or valve issue). At times will press on inertia switch but rarely is it ever popped up to confirm this is part of problem. Often starter fuse will blow after multiple attempts turning key and clicking noise occurring without successfully starting. This has been happening for many weeks. Most success occurs after charging battery to full, pressing on inertia switch(buts seems it is lower position), fresh starter fuse, and usually after 3 or 4 key turns will start.
Any help would be greatly appreciated on troubleshooting.

A blown fuse indicates too much current draw on that circuit. It may be a bad starter. Or, more specifically, a bad starter solenoid.

Which fuse?

F3 (25A) in the Engine Management fusebox, F5 (10A) in the Engine Compartment fusebox, or neither?

Does an ODB2 scan tell you anything?

That fuse feeds the starter solenoid exclusively so, barring any intermittent shorts from pinched wires (White/Red), solenoid/starter assembly, as already suggested.
