hi, I am getting the left and right tilt/slide mechanisms installed next week and I was told that there was a procedure to sync ther sunroof so it does open/close properly. Does anyone know the steps? Please let me know, thank you.

 

I'm not sure about the syncing, but I actually have a question for you. How much did they quote you at replacing the mechanisms (labor wise)?

 

Back when these car were still under factory warranty Jaguar would pay us 2.85 hours for 'tilt/slide vehicle set' but a real world customer pay job would be closer to 5 hours.

Does anyone have an exploded view of the sun roof on a 96 x300? I know part broke in mine but have no clue as to emergency open or close and I would like to fix the dad gum thing. Thanks, PB
